Election Participation GM Update 2.20.26

Board Election Participation

Participation in the 2026 Board Election is off to a strong start. Thank you to everyone who has already taken the time to vote and stay engaged in the future of our community.

As of today:

Votes received: 876

Percent voted: 9.26%

Every vote matters, and continued participation helps ensure the Association can conduct official business on behalf of all homeowners.

If you have not yet voted, there is still time. Homeowners may vote online, by absentee ballot, or by proxy through March 11. The Annual Meeting will take place on March 12 at Crosspoint Church in McKinney (see full event info here), and a minimum 10% quorum is required. Attending the Annual Meeting is a valuable opportunity for residents to hear updates from Board Members firsthand and better understand the decisions shaping the community.

If you prefer to vote in person at the Annual Meeting itself, please plan to arrive at 5:30 PM for check-in.

Paper meeting notices and voting materials were mailed on February 9.

Office Water Loss Event: Thank You for Your Patience

Regarding the January 28 office water loss event: The incident has been formally acknowledged by the insurance carrier, a claim is open, and we are actively working with adjusters and restoration partners to return operations to normal as efficiently as possible. We sincerely appreciate the patience, understanding, and encouragement residents have extended to our team during this time.

A Busy Season for the Community

This has been an especially active period for Stonebridge Ranch Community Association, with election activities, Board initiatives, and multiple ongoing projects occurring simultaneously. Our commitment remains steady: clear communication, transparency, and keeping residents informed about what is happening across the community.

February 26 Board Meeting

Residents are welcome and encouraged to attend the upcoming Board Meeting on February 26. The official meeting notice was distributed to all homeowner email addresses this morning (February 20). If you would like to address the Board, please complete the speaker request form included in that notice. Resident participation and respectful dialogue are important components of effective community governance.

Thank you for staying informed, participating in the election process, and remaining engaged. Your involvement helps strengthen the community we all share.
