In 2008, the developers and master planners of our community ceded Stonebridge Ranch to homeowner control. Decisions which were once made by a team of outside professionals are now in the hands of the SRCA Board of Directors, which is comprised of elected homeowners. The members of the Stonebridge Ranch Community Association (SRCA) elect each Director for a term of three years. These terms are staggered, with either two or three Directors elected annually. Along with serving on the Board, each Director meets monthly as a liaison to one of our six volunteer committees.
BOARD OF DIRECTOR MEETINGS
The Board of Directors convenes monthly to oversee association business. The agendas for each Board meeting are emailed to homeowners 144 hours in advance of each BOD meeting. Board meetings are typically held the third or fourth Thursday of the month, and agendas are posted by the Friday before each meeting. The recorded minutes for each month’s meeting are posted on this page (see links at right of page) after they are ratified at the subsequent monthly meeting.

2024 BOARD ELECTION
This year, there are two director positions open with each having a term of three years. At the close of the call for director applications, there were two homeowners, Jon D’ell Antonia and Nathan de Guia, who had submitted the required candidate materials. Since the number of candidates equals the number of positions to be filled this year, the Board of Directors, per SRCA bylaws, will vote to accept these two candidates. That vote will occur at the annual Board Organizational Meeting.
NOMINATING COMMITTEE
In January 2024, all candidate submissions were reviewed by the Nominating Committee, which is made up of Board Directors who are not up for reelection. The committee interviewed the candidates and fully informed them of time commitments and other responsibilities. The committee will then nominate up to two recommended candidates per open board seat. The nominated homeowners will be identified on the election ballot, along with all other homeowners who choose to run.
STRATEGIC PLAN
The Board of Directors created the association’s first Strategic Plan through a series of intensive analysis meetings beginning in 2013. Each year the Board updates the plan, prioritizing key strategies and initiatives. The plan crystallizes our shared Vision and Mission and explores the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats affecting the community. Through rigorous review and implementation of this living document, the Board ensures that SRCA volunteers and management staff have the directives necessary to maintain the premier look, feel, and lifestyle of our association.
WATER CONSERVATION
In recent years the Board of Directors has implemented a number of key programs focused on the betterment and long-term security of our community. Perhaps chief among them is a commitment to finding water saving solutions. Because water rates continue to rise every year, and because we can all play a part in protecting one of our most vital natural resources, in 2015 the Board wrote a new priority in the Strategic Plan: “To develop an ongoing plan to reduce the consumption of water used to irrigate the association common area landscape, and upgrade the irrigation system infrastructure, technology and management to improve distribution and efficiency.” To learn more about all the Board has done regarding this important goal, please check out the links to articles and other press listed below.
