Update from the GM: Association Office Association Office Update: Repair and Buildback

SRCA Office Update 8.7.26(1)

From the GM, Rachael Robinson:

I want to provide residents with a clear update on the Association Office following the January 28 water-loss event.

Since the loss, Management has been coordinating the assessments, engineering, insurance, planning, and construction-related work needed to determine the appropriate repair and buildback scope for the existing building. Much of that work has happened behind the scenes, but the project has continued to move forward.

We are now in the contractor pricing and repair planning phase. Management is reviewing multiple contractor proposals for the repair and buildback of the Association Office. Our focus is confirming the full restoration scope, contractor pricing, exterior repair options, project sequencing, and anticipated schedule before presenting to the Board.

Where We Are

  1. Emergency Response and Initial Building Work: Complete
  2. Building and Project Evaluations: Complete
  3. Insurance Restoration Scope and Valuation: Complete
  4. Contractor Pricing and Scope Review: In Progress
  5. Board Review and Authorization: Next
  6. Repair and Buildback: Upcoming

What Happens Next?

Once the contractor review is complete, Management will present the Board with the available repair options, project costs, anticipated schedule, and authorization. Following Board approval, the selected contractor will move into final scheduling, permitting, and buildback.

We know residents are ready to see the Association Office reopened. We are now at the point where the project is moving from technical evaluation into contractor selection and repair planning.

Going forward, we will provide regular updates on the Association Office as key milestones are reached.

Thank you for your continued patience as we move the project toward the repair and buildback phase.
