Compliance Corner: A Friendly Reminder About Parking

We would like to share a friendly reminder regarding parking within Stonebridge Ranch and provide some clarity about the difference between Association parking requirements and City or State parking regulations.

Association Parking Requirements

The Stonebridge Ranch Community Association’s CC&Rs include parking provisions under Section 9.3 – Parking. In general, the provision requires vehicles on private property to be parked on an appropriate paved parking surface, driveway, or within a garage.

It also includes requirements regarding certain commercial vehicles, trailers, boats, recreational vehicles, and other types of vehicles that may need to be stored inside a garage or otherwise concealed from public view.

What About Parking on Public Streets?

When it comes to parking on public streets, Section 9.3 provides that street parking is governed by applicable State and municipal laws, ordinances, and regulations.

The CC&Rs also clarify that the Association is not obligated to enforce governmental parking regulations.

HOA Matter or City Matter?

We understand that parking can sometimes be a source of questions or concerns between neighbors. Our goal is simply to help residents understand which parking matters fall within the Association’s responsibilities and which may need to be addressed through the appropriate governmental authority.

Thank You for Being a Considerate Neighbor

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and consideration in helping keep Stonebridge Ranch safe, accessible, and enjoyable for the entire community.
