Fishing Tournament Weekend 2026 at Stonebridge Ranch Wellington Ponds
There was no shortage of excitement at Wellington Ponds this past weekend as Stonebridge Ranch residents gathered for two beloved community traditions: the 25th Annual Hook, Line & Sinker Kids Tournament and the 5th Annual Adult & Teen Fishing Tournament. From first-time junior anglers proudly holding up their catches to seasoned fishermen competing for the biggest bass, the weekend was filled with friendly competition, outdoor fun, and plenty of community spirit.
The Kids Tournament welcomed junior anglers ages 12 and under to the first three ponds at Wellington Point, where families enjoyed a fun-filled morning of fishing, snacks, raffle prizes, and awards. Trophies were presented to the children who caught the nine biggest fish, along with a special award for the smallest fish caught in any species category. Young anglers lined the ponds with fishing poles in hand, excitement in the air, and smiles all around as they competed, cheered each other on, and made lasting memories during this milestone 25th annual event.
The Adult & Teen Tournament brought out an equally enthusiastic crowd, with teens competing for trophies in categories including largest bass, largest catfish, and smallest fish, while adult anglers battled it out in the Big Bass competition for the top catch of the day. Fishermen spread out across the Wellington Ponds after check-in at the gazebo near Pond 2, all hoping to land the winning fish before the noon weigh-in. Congratulations to all of this year’s winners and participants, and a special thank you to the volunteers, staff, and families who helped make the tournaments another successful and memorable weekend at Stonebridge Ranch!
