Rachael’s Ravings: January Momentum into 2026
Looking Ahead to 2026
As we begin 2026, there is a great deal ahead for Stonebridge Ranch, and I’m looking forward to continuing the work already underway. One of the first initiatives launching in January, in collaboration with the Lifestyle Team, is Coffee & Conversation with GM and Team. This quarterly, informal gathering is a chance to come meet me and members of the onsite team, enjoy coffee and light breakfast treats, and spend some time connecting in a relaxed setting. The intent is simple. It’s an opportunity to put faces to names, ask general questions, and get to know the people who support the day-to-day operations of the community outside of formal meetings. More details will be shared soon, and I hope you’ll stop by and join us.
January Momentum
January is always a transition month. Our onsite team is wrapping up final 2025 administrative items, implementing the Board-approved 2026 operating plan, and returning to full project cadence following the holidays. Routine services across the community continue, including maintenance, landscaping, and amenity oversight. You’ll also see communication pick back up as projects, committee activity, and Board-related initiatives move forward.
Call for Candidates
Earlier this week, the Association announced the Call for Board Candidates for the upcoming election cycle. Homeowners who are interested in serving are encouraged to submit their statement of interest by January 15th. Serving on the Board is an opportunity to contribute time, perspective, and leadership in support of the long-term care and direction of Stonebridge Ranch. Additional details and submission instructions are included in the announcement that was recently distributed.
2026 Annual Assessments
Annual Assessments for 2026 were due January 1. As a reminder, the Association observes a grace period, and homeowners have until January 31st to submit payment before late fees are applied, in accordance with the SRCA collection policy.
If you’ve already taken care of this, thank you. If you have questions about your account or need assistance, our team is available to help.
Board Meetings and Homeowner Participation
I also want to encourage homeowner participation in the Association’s governance process. The Board of Directors meets monthly to conduct the official business of the Association. These meetings are where the Board reviews financials, considers contracts, evaluates projects, and makes decisions that guide the long-term care and operation of Stonebridge Ranch. Homeowners are always welcome to attend and observe.
The next Board Meeting is scheduled for January 22, 2026, at 12:30 PM, with both in-person and virtual attendance options available. If you wish to speak during Open Forum, you may do so by completing the online request form that is shared with the meeting notice and agenda. This form is made available 144 hours (six days) prior to the meeting to help manage time and ensure a smooth meeting.
Virginia Parkway & Stonebridge Drive
Work related to the Virginia Parkway and Stonebridge Drive wall restoration is now fully within the insurance process. The Association has completed all required due diligence, including engineering evaluations, documentation, and submission of the full repair estimate to the insurance carrier.
At this point, progress is governed by the carrier’s internal review and procedural timelines. This phase involves reconciliation, administrative review, and standard insurance processing, which can take time. We are fully prepared to move forward as soon as the carrier completes its process. Updates will continue to be shared.
