Updates from Our GM, Rachael Robinson: A Look Inside the November 2025 Board Meeting
An Update on the Virginia & Stonebridge Corner
Last week, we shared that the engineering report had been completed and was guiding the next steps. This week, we received written confirmation from the insurance adjuster acknowledging that report and confirming all documentation submitted to date. At this point, the only remaining item they are waiting on is the contractor’s formal estimate for the reconstruction. Once that is received, we’ll return it to the carrier so the claim can advance. The process isn’t fast, but it’s moving exactly the way it should, with accuracy and clear documentation at every stage. We appreciate our residents’ patience as we continue working through this multi-step repair.
Community in Practice: A Look Inside Yesterday’s Board Meeting
Yesterday’s Board meeting ran from 12:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and it was one of the fuller agendas we’ve had this year. While only a handful of homeowners joined us for the open session, the Board worked through several important items that shape how the Association moves forward.
This is the part of community life most people never see, the long conversations, the follow-up questions, the decisions that require more context than a quick summary can offer. But this is where the real work of governing a master-planned community happens. The entire team is now back on the desks plugging away at Board decisions, actions, and execution. Homeowners are always welcome to attend. We encourage anyone who wants a deeper understanding of how the Association operates to join us for these meetings. Seeing the work firsthand brings a different level of perspective than reading a brief summary afterward.
Why These Meetings Matter
Board meetings can look routine from the outside, but they’re a big part of how Stonebridge Ranch stays stable. The Board reviews where we’ve been, where we’re heading, what’s working, and what needs more attention.
Yesterday’s meeting touched on finances, operations, ongoing projects, policy questions, and long-term planning. None of that is “flashy,” but it’s the kind of work that keeps a 35-year-old community functioning at a high level.
Looking Ahead
As we head into the end of the year, several items are already in motion: finalizing estimates, setting long and short-term goals and planning, prepping for winter, and closing out our 2025 operations while we set up for 2026.
We’ll keep sharing updates as things progress. My goal is to keep you informed in a way that’s clear, candid, and genuinely useful. Stonebridge Ranch works because we’re all invested in it, in different ways but toward the same outcome—a community that stays strong and cared for, year after year.
