Update from Our GM, Rachael Robinson: The Beach Club, More Than a Pool + Ranch Updates
What’s Happening Around the Ranch
Virginia Parkway & Stonebridge Drive Repairs:
Following the vehicle accident earlier this year, restoration efforts continue at the Virginia Parkway and Stonebridge Drive intersection. Childress Engineering Services is completing the structural evaluation and preparing the final repair specifications for the damaged wall and surrounding area. Once the final report is received, the defined scope of work will move forward to the contractor to begin scheduling the work. We appreciate everyone’s continued patience as this important project progresses toward completion.
Governance in Practice: Legacy, Leadership, and the Path Forward
As we wrap up this month’s Governance in Practice series, I want to reflect on what ties everything together: fiduciary duty, financial planning, and long-term stewardship. These principles show how good governance works in real life through integrity, transparency, and teamwork at every level. Stonebridge Ranch has thrived for more than three decades because generations of leaders, volunteers, and residents have cared deeply about protecting the value and beauty of this community. Every decision the Board makes and every action management takes is about continuing that legacy and ensuring that what we build and preserve today will last well into the next generation.
Building Trust Through Transparency
Trust grows through openness and consistency. That is why our systems for financial reporting, reserve planning, and project management are designed to keep residents informed and engaged. Transparency not only protects the Association’s assets but also builds confidence in the leadership team that serves you.
The Beach Club: More Than a Pool
Many residents have followed updates about the Beach Club project, but what isn’t always seen is the amount of coordination and expertise behind the scenes. The Beach Club isn’t simply a pool, it is a complete reimagining of one of Stonebridge Ranch’s most iconic and well-loved amenities. This project brings together a team of professionals in architecture, engineering, construction management, and landscape design, working closely with the Board and management to ensure that every aspect of the rebuild reflects quality, safety, and long-term sustainability. Every component, from the design of the buildings and pavilions to lighting, drainage, accessibility, security, and even the furnishings, is being carefully studied and refined before construction begins. It is a highly detailed process that includes workshops, design reviews, and technical evaluations at every step. Each decision is intentional, ensuring the new facility not only meets modern safety and accessibility standards but also captures the welcoming character and elegance that define Stonebridge Ranch. The result will be much more than a pool. It will be a thoughtfully designed gathering space that serves residents for decades to come, a place where families can create memories, enjoy events, and feel proud of the community they call home. Through every discussion and milestone, the focus remains the same: to deliver a lasting, high-quality amenity that honors the legacy of the original Beach Club while meeting the needs of the next generation of Stonebridge Ranch residents.
Special Assessment Update
Thank you to all residents who have already submitted their Special Assessment payments. Your support is what allows the Beach Club project and other critical reinvestments to move forward with confidence and care.
For those who have not yet paid, please do so at your earliest convenience. If you need assistance setting up a payment plan, contact our onsite team and we will be happy to assist you through the process. It truly takes a village, and we appreciate everyone’s shared commitment to the long-term success of Stonebridge Ranch. Together, we are investing in the future of our community.
Looking Ahead
The next chapter for Stonebridge Ranch is one of renewal and reinvestment. Our commitment is to maintain transparency, manage resources responsibly, and ensure that every improvement adds value and longevity for all homeowners.
Good governance is not about hierarchy but about partnership. When the Board, management, and residents work together with a shared purpose, we strengthen the foundation that keeps this community one of the most desirable places to live in Texas.
As we close this Governance in Practice series, I look forward to continuing these conversations in the coming months with a new focus on the next layer of HOA life, what community living looks like in practice, how our departments work together each day, and how your involvement continues to shape the Stonebridge Ranch experience. Thank you for following this series, to those who shared great feedback, and for being part of what makes Stonebridge Ranch such a special place to call home.
We’d Love to Hear from You!
