The Aquatic Center consists of a junior Olympic size pool, which is great for lap swimming or just relaxing. It also offers a kiddie wading pool with an interactive water feature. There are several shade structures with tables and chairs for lounging. The Aquatics Center is located at the corner of Stonebridge Drive and Coronado Drive.
2017 Aquatic Center Pool Hours
- The AC will close for the duration of 30 minutes after each clap of thunder is heard on stormy days.
No child under the age of 12 will be admitted without a parent or designated guardian who is at least 18 years of age.
- LAP SWIMMING will be held Monday through Friday from 6 to 8 a.m. between the dates of Tuesday, May 30 to Friday, September 1. (It will not be held on days the pool is closed; see the calendar below.) Please note: because there will be no lifeguard on duty during these hours, lap swimming is for ages 18+ only.
- This summer, WATER AEROBICS will be provided by BJ’s Health Care Consulting Co. Come and join BJ and her team to have a great work out and meet new friends. Classes will be held at the Aquatic Center between June 22 and September 29, 2017. We'll meet weekly on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30-9:30 AM. Because no life-guard is on duty, these classes are for ages 18+ only. The cost is $5 cash per session, or you may purchase a 10-session pass for $50 using cash or a personal check. Passes may be purchased and used throughout the entire water aerobics summer season. The vendor does not take credit or debit cards. If you have questions, please call or text BJ Jordan at 214-551-2731, or email her at email@example.com.
