Another week is in the books, and there has been plenty happening across SRCA. Before we head into the weekend, here are a few updates from your onsite team and a look at what we’re working on behind the scenes.

It’s Budget Season

You may have noticed Finance isn’t included in this week’s article roundup. There is a good reason for that: we are deep into 2027 budget season. 

Developing the Association’s annual budget is one of the management team’s most important responsibilities, and there is a significant amount of work that happens before a proposed budget ever reaches the Board.

Right now, our Finance Committee  and onsite leadership teams are reviewing 2025 actual results, analyzing 2026 year-to-date performance and projections, evaluating contracts and anticipated operating costs, reviewing departmental needs and priorities, and developing the assumptions that will shape the proposed 2027 budget.

The goal isn’t simply to build a spreadsheet that balances. It is to develop a thoughtful, supportable operating plan for a community of Stonebridge Ranch’s size and complexity.

Once management’s work is complete, the proposed budget moves through the Association’s review process, including the Finance Committee, before ultimately being presented to the Board of Directors for consideration and approval. There are a lot of meetings, a lot of numbers and definitely a lot of spreadsheets happening around here right now!

Planning Ahead

Budget season isn’t the only planning underway.

Management continues to work through the evaluation and planning necessary for the Main Office restoration following the January flood. Our current work is focused on gathering and reconciling the information needed so that the appropriate recommendations and next steps can be brought forward through the Association’s review and approval process.

We’ll continue sharing meaningful updates as that work progresses.

Lifestyle Committee

Thank you to everyone who has submitted an interest form for our newly formed Lifestyle Committee. The Board will review and make their final appointments at the next Board meeting.

Resident participation is an important part of what makes Stonebridge Ranch special, and we appreciate those who are willing to contribute their time and ideas. We look forward to the next steps as the committee takes shape.

And speaking of Lifestyle, don’t forget to keep an eye on our upcoming events and activities. There is plenty more on the calendar as we head toward the end of summer!

Together with the rest of our onsite staff, this team manages the day-to-day operations of Stonebridge Ranch and supports the Board of Directors in carrying out the business of the Association.

One Year at Stonebridge Ranch

August 4th also marked my one-year anniversary with RealManage and Stonebridge Ranch. It is hard to believe a full year has already passed. That first year gave me the opportunity to learn a tremendous amount about this community, where we’ve been, where we are today and, perhaps most importantly, where we need to go next. There has been a lot of work behind us and there is plenty ahead of us. As I head into year two, my focus remains on continuing to strengthen our operations, supporting this team, improving how we serve our residents and making sure the work happening today positions Stonebridge Ranch well for the future. Staying Connected

We encourage homeowners to regularly review Stonebridge Ranch’s official communication channels, including Association email updates, the Stonebridge Ranch website, official notices, and communications from the Board and Management team. These channels are intended to provide current information about Association services, community projects, resident resources, events, and long-term planning. When residents have questions or need assistance, our team is available to help direct them to the appropriate information or department.
