Beach Club Construction Update: Continued Progress Across the Project
Exciting progress continues at the Stonebridge Ranch Beach Club as construction, design coordination, and site improvements move forward across several areas of the renovation.
As the project advances, residents may notice increased activity throughout the Beach Club property. While some improvements are becoming more visible, a significant amount of work is also taking place behind the scenes as the project team coordinates permitting, utilities, design details, construction sequencing, and the many individual components required to bring the completed Beach Club experience together.
Pool Construction and Structural Progress
Work continues to advance on several important components of the pool area. Pool plumbing remains underway, along with continued progress on the equipment room and preparation for upcoming structural work.
The project team is also working through the remaining permitting requirements associated with the children’s pool shade structure. Completing these requirements is an important step in preparing the area for the next phase of construction.
Each of these elements plays a role in supporting the overall pool complex, and the team continues coordinating the work carefully as construction progresses.
Protecting the Beach Club’s Existing Trees
Tree preservation continues to be an important focus throughout construction.
Additional watering is underway to support trees located within and around the active construction areas. The project team is also implementing recommendations provided by the arborist and reinforcing tree protection measures where needed.
Maintaining these protections throughout construction helps reduce unnecessary impact to the existing landscape while allowing work to continue safely around the site.
Playground and Design Improvements
Design coordination is also moving forward on several features that will help shape the completed Beach Club.
The playground design continues to progress as the team works through the details of this future amenity. Additional design items currently underway include the pool finish mock-up and planned improvements to the veranda area.
These details are being reviewed alongside the larger construction schedule to help ensure the various elements of the Beach Club work together as the project moves toward completion.
Electrical, Access and Security Coordination
Behind the scenes, coordination continues on several important infrastructure components.
The project team is working with Oncor regarding electrical needs for the property while also continuing planning for access control and security systems throughout the renovated Beach Club.
Although these improvements may not always be as visible as the pool, playground, or other physical amenities, they are important pieces of the overall renovation and the future operation of the facility.
Moving Into the Next Phase
Overall, the Beach Club renovation continues to move forward with construction, design, permitting, infrastructure, and site coordination occurring simultaneously.
Projects of this size involve many interconnected components, and the team continues working through each phase while coordinating with contractors, design professionals, utility providers, consultants, and other project partners.
Residents can expect to continue seeing activity throughout the Beach Club as additional improvements take shape and the project progresses into its next phase.
