Landscape & Maintenance News: Irrigation Repairs & Monument Progress
Keeping Stonebridge Ranch beautiful and well-maintained takes a lot of work behind the scenes. This week, we’re sharing updates on a recent irrigation mainline repair and the ongoing restoration of the monument at Nora Haney Park.
Irrigation Mainline Repair Near US 380
Stonebridge Ranch recently experienced a significant irrigation mainline leak near US 380 and the Stonebridge Pump Station. After investigating the issue, the damage was determined to be associated with work performed by a City of McKinney contractor in the area.
Our landscape vendors responded quickly, locating the source of the leak and completing the necessary repairs. Their prompt response restored the irrigation mainline while helping minimize continued water loss and potential damage to the surrounding landscape.
Protecting Community Resources
Because the damage was associated with work performed by a City contractor, Michael Duree, Stonebridge Ranch Landscape & Grounds Director, worked directly with the City of McKinney regarding the repair costs.
As a result of that coordination, the City reimbursed Stonebridge Ranch for the cost of the repair, ensuring the Association was not left responsible for an expense resulting from the contractor-related damage.
Situations like this highlight the importance of actively monitoring Stonebridge Ranch’s extensive irrigation infrastructure. Identifying and addressing leaks quickly is particularly important as we continue managing our landscaping through challenging weather and drought conditions.
Our Landscape & Grounds team will continue working closely with our vendors and local partners to maintain the community’s irrigation systems, protect our landscape investments, and manage Association resources responsibly.
Maintenance Corner: Nora Haney Park Monument
The damaged monument column at Nora Haney Park is moving toward the next stage of restoration.
The debris resulting from the damage has been removed, and the area has been cleaned. Our team is now coordinating the repair and reconstruction of the damaged column.
This project remains in progress, and we will continue to provide residents with updates as repair work moves forward.
Keeping Stonebridge Ranch Maintained
From irrigation infrastructure beneath the ground to the monuments and landscaping residents see every day, our teams continue working throughout Stonebridge Ranch to identify concerns, coordinate repairs, and maintain the community.
We appreciate the efforts of our landscape and maintenance teams, vendors, and the City of McKinney in helping address these items and keep Stonebridge Ranch looking its best.
