Beach Club: Design Phase Almost Done + New Renderings!

The vision for the Beach Club is leaping off the page and coming to life. The Beach Club project is moving full steam ahead. What began as survey feedback and early sketches is now taking shape in detailed plans that bring the community’s vision to life. Over the summer, our design partners finalized the early blueprints and moved into the last stretch of the five-month design phase. Site plans are already under review with the City of McKinney, and the feedback so far has been encouraging.

Each week, more details come into focus. The pools are being designed with flexibility in mind, so they can serve our diverse, multigenerational community. Did you know that nearly one in four households includes someone age 65 or older, while about 10 percent have a child under five? These details are shaping plans for everything from splash-friendly pools to shaded seating, fireplaces and year-round gathering spaces. Landscape architects are selecting durable materials to create welcoming paths and outdoor areas, while architects refine the veranda and pavilion to ensure they’re functional, comfortable and ready to host neighbors throughout the year.

For homeowners, this progress means more opportunities to gather, celebrate and connect. Imagine Halloween or Independence Day celebrations that no longer face the threat of cancellation due to weather, thanks to expanded covered space. Picture community traditions growing in size and energy with more room designed just for them. With an expanded veranda, evenings on the lake won’t be limited to summer, homeowners will soon be able to enjoy concerts, movie nights and socials even on a crisp fall evening.

The design phase is nearing 60% completion as of late September and is expected to wrap up entirely by December. Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2026, marking the next major milestone for the project.

With every milestone, the vision becomes clearer. Thanks to the dedication of the project team and the continued support of the dozens of homeowners serving on the Beach Club, Amenities, Communications, Finance, Landscape & Grounds, Modifications, and Social Committees, the new Beach Club is on its way to becoming a destination for neighborhood celebrations, family afternoons at the pool, and evenings by the lake that stretch into every season.
