Action-Packed Saturday: Coffee & Cars, Cardboard Boat Races 2026, & Community Fun at the Aquatic Center
It was an action-packed Saturday at the Stonebridge Ranch Aquatic Center as residents came together for two exciting community events filled with creativity, friendly competition and plenty of summer fun.
Coffee, Cars, + Donuts
The morning kicked off with Coffee, Cars, + Donuts, where 17 vehicles rolled in and more than 40 attendees stopped by to admire everything from timeless classics to modern performance machines.
The lineup featured an impressive variety of vehicles, including a Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible, a classic Chevrolet Corvair convertible, a bright red T-bucket hot rod, a Chevrolet Corvette C8, and several other sports cars, Jeeps and classic favorites. Whether attendees came to show off their ride or simply enjoy a donut and stroll through the lineup, there was something for every car enthusiast.
Thank you to everyone who joined us—whether you brought a hot rod, a classic cruiser, a modern sports car or simply enjoyed the view from the sidelines. Your participation helped make the morning a great success.

Cardboard Boat Races
The excitement continued in the afternoon with the Cardboard Boat Races, where approximately 40 residents gathered to cheer on four determined teams as they launched their handmade cardboard creations across the Aquatic Center pool.
Each boat showcased plenty of creativity and hard work, and racers gave it their all as they paddled toward the finish line while spectators cheered them on. After a fun afternoon of racing, Poseidon’s Revenge (an appropriately named team following the recent release of The Odyssey) claimed victory, taking home the coveted Golden GOAT Trophy and medals.
Congratulations to the winning team, and thank you to all of the participants and parents who helped bring the event to life. Your enthusiasm, creativity and participation helped make this year’s Cardboard Boat Races another memorable summer event.
We enjoyed spending the day with so many Stonebridge Ranch residents and look forward to seeing everyone at our upcoming community events.
